Haiti Cheri Event--Pride. Love. Commitment

So for months I have been hoping to be able to attend the Haiti Cheri event.  Then one day I sat and prayed about it.  I told GOD if it was His will for  me to go, then to please make a free ticket available for me.  Three days after praying that prayer, my friend Geri text me to say that her boyfriend wouldn't be able to attend, would I be interested in being her date.  Hot diggity of course I would!!

The event was held in a ballroom in Manhattan.  When I arrived the music was playing and people were mingling.  I quickly found my date and mingled.  I met some pretty cool people, Miss Haiti Universe, Christie Deisr; Karen Civil, Honoree of the night and Philanthropist; Audrey J. Bernard, society columnist and photo journalist and so many more people. Four people were honored for their diligent work in Haiti, there was an auction, food and dancing.  All proceeds benefits HELP http://uhelp.net/ and Project St. Ann http://projectstanne.org/
